Kedarnath, I went out to watch a movie bcoz it's been long since I haven't watched a movie. Thugs of Hindustan disappeared from theatre before I could register the presence. To the point review of KEDARNATH location is superb, acting is so and so, story does not connect you, screen play is average direction is worst, director totally confused. Over all its one more flop after debacle of thug of Hindustan. Saaara Ali need to wait for Simba. The production house have zero knowledge about Kedarnath region and Garhwali cultures neither they know any thing about Pithhu Community. A great movie to watch, but most people see it as a story, hardly dwelling into the how artistically inclined it is.
What I feel is that this is not just a story. It metaphorically explores the relation between Lord Shiva, river Mandakini and the human settlements of Kedarnath.

Sara Ali khan is a breath is fresh air - reminds viewers of Preity Zinta and Amrita Singh in some clips . That was much needed in the times when everyone is working on their pouts and size zero only !

Must say a very good start for the star kid Sara Ali Khan.
Sushant always reminds to us as a guy in our next door.
Sara costumes were very good. No skin show or vulgurty which will spoil the shrine name Kedarnath.
Locations are very beautiful, splendent must say. Youth visit to Kedarnath might increase after this movie.

Very lovely, nice feeling movie with good actors, good acting, good story, good music, good photography, great locations. Simple story powerfully narrated. Sushant and Sara did full justice to their parts but Nitish Bharadwaj is uncomfortable and unconvincing in his role. Simply he’s not a known good actor except the Krishna role of Mahabharata was OK basically due to the powerful story and dialogues. Given this exception the movie is 100% entertaining and a must see.

Also wanted to wanted to watch for vibrant and scintillating Sara Ali khan. It was my child's first day first show. We enjoyed thoroughly. But worth watching just because of its stunning and amazing views taken in kedarnath and nice vfx effects for the floods and landslides that sadly happened in 2013. The direction, sound design, and cinematography is amazing to say the least. The panning shots of the mountains are simply breathtaking and will make you fall in love with the location. Sara Ali Khan's performance as a debutante is really commendable. Her expressions of being mischievous, to being serious, to bawling out loudly were on point. Kedarnath is a good movie if you are watching it without any expectation.Awesome cinematogaphy, special effect and visual in the second half.
I was with an expectation that the movie is all about flood and little love story.Finished 3/4th of the movie and then finally it started showing about 2013 flood incident.
Despite having great vfx couldnt connect much to the flood incident because the movie didnt have a great story.

Today I watched kedarnath 😍 I couldn't watch on the release day because of my exams😣 And watching the movie today was the best decision as I have watched the movie without any tension and all... I saw this movie today and I was expecting it to be a superb movie based on the trailer. It felt bit short on my expectations since the emphasis is more on the love story between Mukku (Sara Ali Khan) and Mansoor ( Sushant Singh Rajput) and less on the natural calamity which struck Kedarnath in June 2013. I watch this movie finally , I was waiting for a long for this movie. I really loved this movie, location, sound, acting skills , story and everything about this. Topic was very good. 2 love birds from different religion then the drama and the climax and that disaster , i got goosebumps.
I also belongs from uttarakhand and i didn't get any wrong message about encouraging love jihad .

I absolutely loved this movie. I went to see this movie because I have been to Kedarnath years back when I was in high school and was awed by the scenic beauty of the place. This movie is a visual treat specially the flood scenes portray cinematographic excellence.
